The patented web taper helps to increase the rigidity of the bit and to decrease the potential for bit breakage. The patented Pilot Point tip on the 3/16" to 1/2" bits allows the user to drill holes faster with clean, burr-free holes. The Pilot Point design also helps to reduce any bit walking.
